Brand D2 unit 20- relating to the brief
Relating to the Brief
Looking at the brief i have here i have met all the different requirements that have been stated, this can involve the target audience or the advertising requirements. This brief wanted a drink that was a healthy fizzy drink that is also made up of natural ingredients including fruits.
After seeing this my mind thought of a cooling fruity summer drink that you can have in all seasons. We were asked to do advertising for our new drink brand which means we could do a web advert and a print advert. I have only done two adverts however, i did multiple different print adverts and multiple web adverts. We see in the brief it wants us to target to a younger generation, i did this by making my target audience teens and upwards. I made sure that this also appealed to an older age such as 30 upwards and that it would reach a younger target audience such as 13 upwards. This is because i thought students would enjoy the drink i created and that it would be affordable for them to buy, i also thought if this is going to be a fruity fun drink that it could reach people that were in working jobs that are busy all the time who just want a bit of healthy positivity.
I 100% made sure that this drink would be as diverse as possible so people with any gender, race, religion would be able to buy and drink my drink. This drink is called Satara which is an Arabic word for orange which is the first main flavor of the drink, this then makes sure that culture is spend around to people who don't know Arabic. Within this unit i have provided evidence of my research, planning, producing and cresting the whole unit. This work has all been fully completed in the classroom and out, this shows my dedication to the unit and determination to get it finished.
This is my production schedule, which is one of my way of planning things. This is what i would follow through out the process of this brand, i didn't do most of the things on the production schedule because i didn't end up making a tv advert. I only went with the print and web designs. I did however do some photography but i didn't like the outcome so i didn't us most of the photos.
I enjoyed making and using this production schedule because it gave me time scales and days on what i could do everything on. I used this so i knew what order to do everything in which is what i did, i did my planning and mood boards first then i continued with the production section where i made my different shots and edits.
My post production section was finalizing everything and choosing which edits i like the best. You can see that i have followed this production schedule because my blogger/ power point slides are in the order of the schedule and i found this very useful and helpful.
These screenshots are from the planning and design process and they are there for me to put down my ideas of what i wanted to create. These were sketches that were going to be like the blueprint of my product. I needed something to look at to give me inspiration and to help me put all the content i wanted in my adverts. I did three sketches and some more rough plans to know for sure what i wanted to go for and this is what i came up with. I did use these sketches thought the creating process of the adverts so i could look back at what i wanted in the advert and what they should look like.
These are where i first started off with my editing and these were not used for my final adverts because i did not create the backgrounds the images came off the web, so these were just there to improve my editing techniques and see what looks good and doesn't before i start trying to master the final adverts. These are all trail and error just to see what i could do and give myself some practice with what software i had.
