Feedback

Looking at the feedback we have had a lot of positive comments which made us feel very good and positive about the way it looks, people like the shots we took and the concept of the advert. People liked the way we made the advert link into headphones, everyone liked the way we did some shots. The colour was something picked up on too, they liked how we made the first part where I didn't have the headphones on in black and white but then once the headphones are on and the music is playing it becomes all colorful. For some reason the some of the responses say they wanted to see me walking slower or more smoothly which will be something I will have to learn in the future. 

The editing was something people liked but also needs improving such as many taking out the transitions that aren't needed and they wanted to see that the shots would move a bit more smoothly. All of the improvements can be fixed in the future if we was going to do this again. We made sure that in the forms we could put a bit of every element in so people don't just have to give there opinion of the filming and editing but the acting and the overall performance is picked up on and we can see where we need to improve on those parts too. 

Positive Feedback

It is important to get positive feedback because it doesn't only make you feel happy and confident about your work but it also helps you see the parts that looked the best so you know you can do that next time and people will enjoy it. We need both positives and improvements or else we wont know what people like and dislike, that's important in media because we need to know what is going to appeal to the target audience we have.

We had comments on a few things such as people liked the transition form black and white colour pallet to the natural colorful environment we were in because his then showed the negative atmosphere to the positive one when the headphones get placed on. People commented on the fact they like it when I plug the headphones in and play the music because it shows the start of the transition and then the colour and music appears. It just shows that once the headphones are on all of the misery can disappear and you can relax with the headphones on. A lot of comments on the voice over and audio of the different sounds throughout the advert to show the different transitions.

We got comments on it being consistent and the quality was good all the way through for our first time doing something like this I agree. We got good comments on the shots that we used, this was partly the camera work and what kind of shots that would fit with the advert and make the clips flow. The transitions did help this which we got good comments on too but in our story board and planning we made sure we researched our shots and what would flow from one shot to another. This did help with our photographer being the camera man so he knew which shots to us however, we collectively looked at which ones would look good with the theme of our advert and we made sure we was able to do it with the equipment we had which I think we did very well. 

Improvements

The improvement and what people thought didn't look as good were very important to us because now we know for next time or this time we can change it up to make it look better. The improvement is there not to be negative but to make it look better and essentially get a more positive outlook. 

The main improvements that we got was mainly the editing side of it, the transition needs to either be smoother or put less transitions in that aren't needed in some places. The text and colour were commented on once but this is understandable because sometimes the text and fonts/colours might not link into the advert so it might make it look less appealing but this can be depending on how is looking at it. I think that the font matches because it is just a pop of colour over the Sony text to make it stand out and everything is black and white (the background which includes leaves) and so the Sony advert has the colourful leaves as like a contrasting theme but some people might not take that into consideration. 

The other things that people commented on was the filming, this is also something we need to do better next time because we filmed in two takes we had one day with a tripod and one day without, this means that some clips weren't perfectly straight or in line with the last clip so we had some clips in the advert that were not as perfect as the other clips. When looking at the audio visual promo I think that there were things that needed to be improved which we did end up looking at however, we think that we needed other peoples opinions to see what other people thought. We could think that one bit looked bad but someone else really enjoy it so we did the forms sheet to see other peoples opinions, this was very helpful because now we know for next time what can be improved on. 

The filming needed to be a bit for consistent throughout and we see this being mentioned but overall the filming was very good with the different shots, it was very creative and linked in to the theme of the audio visual promo. The editing was a first time experiment and we thought it was very good for the first time, there was a lot of trail and error in this were we would try different effects and transitions to make it flow a bit smoother and overall we thought it came out very successful.

This is the feedback we got from our class mates and teacher in class. We played the audio visual promo to the class and they answered our feedback forms. This is good for us because we now have some cretic that we can follow if we want to further improve our advert.
