What is happening here is that the clips are all being put together just like the offline edit but here we are cutting the clips down top were we just out the mistakes or the beginning of the clips so they flow a lot better. We are also planning and seeing here what would look good with the clips we have, we can trails which effects we want and what would make the clips flow a lot better. 


Here is the cutting of each clip to its desired length, this is so that each shot flows from one to another, we will fix the flow with effects and transitions but for now we want to cut the clips to the right amount. This was just trial and error and seeing what would work or not. This was done all after the clips were on the editing section and we could fully see what needed to be shorter and this all changed throughout  the editing process. 


Here the music was added when we wanted it, this was when I pressed play on the phone as if it was playing from my phone even though it was just added in. You can see here that one screen is black and white and one is filled with colour, this is because we had edited the parts that were sad and gloomy in black and white to give off that sad effect. Then once the headphones are on and the music is playing we kept the colour we were already filming in. This was just an added effect to people would understand the feelings shown in the advert and give off a positive feel when looking at the headphones. 

There is an effects panel on the left side of the screen, this is where the effects are that we can add onto the right panel where the clips are, this was done many of times with different editing styles so we could choose which would match the advert. We all gave our own feedback to each other and made sure everyone had a say in the group.  


Here as you can see in the right panel where the editing goes there is a pink clip, this was the PowerPoint we added onto the end of our advert which says has information about the headphones so people know how much they are and where to buy it. Also here we are still adjusting the clips and effects to see what works right with the style we are going for.


Here we saw at this point we ran into a problem, we have added in the music and we have added in one of our group members speaking which is just reading out what the information about the headphones is. However, we could still heard the audio of the original clips which wasn't what we needed in the advert so we had to find a way to get rid of it. We wanted background noise but you could hear us talking so we wanted to remove this and add an artificial background noise so it sounds more natural.


This is where we added the background noise to cover the fact we had a bad background noise. We also found a way to get rid of the talking, on the left panel that's where you find effects and editing, there was a volume option where you can turn down the volume of the original clip and we did that and thankfully it worked to the point were you couldn't hear us talking and the added background noise was more clear.

After the editing and thinking that it was up to the standard that we like we decided to upload it onto YouTube for people to watch, we had a little feedback but there is a Microsoft form post for more feedback.

Short film- LO1

Animation Unit 10- LO3

P5 ............................................................................................................... This is how my animation was created. I have decided to do stop motion animation so my animation required me to make all the backgrounds and take each image of every moving thing to make this animation come to life.  I had my own quiet room to make sure that I have the right resources to work with each background. The backgrounds were made out of colourful card and some of the elements that I wanted moving were not glued onto the background they were stook on by blue tack. This allows me to move each piece how I want too but it not be full stuck onto the background or else it just wouldn't work. The background was also stuck on the back wall with blue tack because I was going to be moving it through shooting and so that needed to stay unstuck but stuck to the wall.
