Radio P5- Final Radio Edit and Editing process

Editing process

For this screenshot i wanted to show you that i have been putting the clips of audio together just to make sure everything is in order and i have been following the script making sure that everything is there and there isn't something missing. I did spot while doing this there was an audio missing and so we went back to record it again and make sure it was fit to add back in later on. Here i am cutting down each clip while on the multitrack, this was easy for me to edit in so i kept it in this setting. This made me see things clearly and so i was able to edit it easier. When recording i gave myself three seconds before we started talking so when editing i gave myself time so i could cut down the audio and we didn't miss anything. 


Here i am adding in the sound effects after sorting out all the clips in order and making sure i have everything i need, i added in the sound effects according to what it says on the script. They turned out very successful however, they needed cutting down too. This was simple i did the same things to the sound effects as the recordings. I also made sure that it would blend in with the audios so i added in the fade out and fade in effect, when you click right on the audio there is an option of fading in and out. 


This is where i was just checking all the audio making sure the volume levels are good to use, here I'm also splitting down a long piece of audio we did for the interview. This was also simple to do all you do is right click and it comes up with the section to split, click that and it splits the audio, then all i had to do was cut down the audio because i did the same technique where i leave myself room to edit. i did this for the rest of the audios. 


I'm doing the same thing in the third screenshot here and making sure everything is finished up, i still have some audio missing so i have left spaces for us to record and re edit it. This is good because i now have been following the script and making sure it is all in order and it flows. 


This is the final screenshot of the final editing process here i am making sure that it all flows and it links to each audio perfectly, this is to make sure that everything we have recorded and filmed is good audio to use and that the edit flows like we need it too. This is the final time I'm making sure it sounds good to be the final edit.

Short film- LO1

Animation Unit 10- LO3

P5 ............................................................................................................... This is how my animation was created. I have decided to do stop motion animation so my animation required me to make all the backgrounds and take each image of every moving thing to make this animation come to life.  I had my own quiet room to make sure that I have the right resources to work with each background. The backgrounds were made out of colourful card and some of the elements that I wanted moving were not glued onto the background they were stook on by blue tack. This allows me to move each piece how I want too but it not be full stuck onto the background or else it just wouldn't work. The background was also stuck on the back wall with blue tack because I was going to be moving it through shooting and so that needed to stay unstuck but stuck to the wall.
