Form and Visualisation diagrams


This is going to be the simple layout of the front cover. I want to make sure that the main this is more of a professional shot so people know who the main character is in this chase the main singer. This is who will have some information about them in the magazine. Now looking at the masthead I want to change it to one of the others that I have created. I want it to look more indie than street art style. So that can be changed and planned out or tested again. The artist name still will be in there. Some information will still be listed on the side of the magazine I want it to be information about new albums but not reviling anything more than that, I also want to make sure that I out on something about where you can find the magazine. I want to make sure that is mention for people that don't want to buy it but want to read and purchase it online. The barcode is of course going to be on the front too.



This is the contents page. I now want a photo that is going to show off the artist singing in there performance mode so people know what they are about to read and get ready for it because it is going to be all about music. I haven't fully decided on the text style yet but when I get to designing the magazine I can see what looks good with the images and content. The headings are going to be in the same font as the writing but bigger and for some reason I am imagining a green, cream, orange kind of vibe. For everything in the magazine just because for my inspiration I have seen different concerts and festivals with that green and orange vibe and I just think that it will fit. Unless I use the element of red to catch peoples eye for heading and things that will pop out to the audience but I can decided that when I am creating the magazine. I need someone to learn towards for the photoshoot as well because then I can get an idea on what the front colours can be like. 


This is the double page spread for my magazine. This is a simple layout of what my magazine will look like and the content within the magazine. I want to make sure that I show off my singer in a very professional manner in there full on element singing there song in a festival or concert. I want to make sure that I have different images of concerts and new albums because that is what content is going to be in this part of the magazine. All the new songs, concerts info and festival info is going to be in this part so I need to make sure that I have a strong bold font that is there to make sure that people are going to see it and read it clearly. Then on the other page I am going to make sure that there is an article that people can dive in and read. I want it to be a well being positive article because people need to have a bit of positivity and that is what music is for. The article will relate to music and mental health I feel like this just hits the target of audience that I need. This article can be there to help people gain confidence by doing something they love and in this articles case it is a singer that gain their confidence by containing with there music dream.  There will also be a little appearance of an interview too with a famous singer talking about there new song and what it was like creating it. 

Going through the process of improvements I have deiced to not do the interview this will not change anything I will still be using the same layout but it will just be an article for my magazine.

Photoshoot Plans

For my photoshoot I am going to need a few different photos going on for this magazine. Models, I am, going to need my main singer so I need a main model which is going to be a friend outside of college who is also willing to do this. I will definitely need a few other people to be in the background photos to make it look like my main singer is playing in a busy concert which links into what I am talking about in my advert. 

My probs for the photoshoot I was thinking a microphone and a microphone stand to make it look like my singer is singing in a concert. 

For the location I wanted to do it in my mum's dance studio because it is a big studio space and i have my own photography set up there and I have a stage in it so I will us it to look like a professional club that my singer can look like they are playing in. 

Equipment needed will be a camera and I will be using my own home digital camera, a tripod to stan up my camera which I also have at home, a backdrop for the professional looking photos which I also already have at home. 

The shots I am going to take are going to be depending on what I want and what works on the day I take them but I was hoping for very indie style shots and I will make sure I use my mood boards to give me inspiration. I am liking the side shots that are looking up to there singer as if I was taking the photo at a real concert. I was also hoping for some professional looking shots that are there for the inside of the magazine. I want to make sure that the colours, styles, outfits, the way I photography them and any after effects/ edits I use I want them to be all in the same style something a bit punk rock but with the indie style. 

I take my inspiration from my favourite bands such as Kasabian and the Reytons. There style of indie rock is definitely the vibe I like its playful, chaotic and fun. That is what I want in my photos, I am using a girl as my singer so the indie rock style and be portrayed on her through her outfit, makeup, hair and set up indie of the environment they are in. I can make somewhere look like a concert but not like a full on festival/ concert so I am going to portray the style by her looks. I will make a plan to arrange the photoshoot and have permission to be able to photograph the person for this magazine. 


Photoshoot inspirations

These are the style and example of photos that I am going to be using as my inspiration for the photoshoot. I want some photos that are mainly the artist as the main subject and then some of the photos to be of the crowd and the singer in their element.

Fonts Graphics, House Style Colours

I will be using different font styles ad colour schemes throughout the magazine and I have put a mood board together on which fronts and colour schemes I am using for the magazine and for the photoshoot. 

The purples, blue, greens are used a lot in my photos so I think I will be looking for those kind of colour schemes. The font i am going for is looking at the indie, scribble, rock looking font which I have put down on this mood board because I feel like it makes the magazine tie in with the indie rock style of magazine. I was debating between the full indie look or adding the element of rock in the magazine it I think that the indie rock style is its own styles I have leant so I am going to link them both together and make the element of rock and indie be shown within the fonts and colours of the magazine. 

Graphics wont be used as much in my magazine but things like symbols and stickers would look very scrap book style to the magazine and I think that it ties in the with rock indie look. Things like graffiti writing on the imagines of the photos I have taken and the backgrounds could have some simple graphics but I don't want there to be too much going on. I don't want it to look unclear but a simple messy scrapbook style would tie in with the indie rock style. This will relate to my audience and brand because it is music related content with the music styles symbols and graphics that will be incorporated into my magazine and photos.

Animation Unit 10- LO3

P5 ............................................................................................................... This is how my animation was created. I have decided to do stop motion animation so my animation required me to make all the backgrounds and take each image of every moving thing to make this animation come to life.  I had my own quiet room to make sure that I have the right resources to work with each background. The backgrounds were made out of colourful card and some of the elements that I wanted moving were not glued onto the background they were stook on by blue tack. This allows me to move each piece how I want too but it not be full stuck onto the background or else it just wouldn't work. The background was also stuck on the back wall with blue tack because I was going to be moving it through shooting and so that needed to stay unstuck but stuck to the wall.
