Photoshoot

Going through the process of improvements i have deiced to not do the interview this will not change anything i will still be using the same layout but it will just be an article for my magazine. 

This is very single photo i took and liked when i did the photoshoot for my magazine. I gathered a group of people to look like a crowd in a music gig and i then had my friend dress in some indie rock outfit to look like a singing artists. She did her hair and makeup in the rock style but keeping it the indie casual style so it wasn't too over the top. Then i made sure everyone was  safe and ready to act and got started with my shoot. I had a few shots of her looking like she is in a music rock gig and had everyone cheering while she made movements that made her look like she was singing and being a music star. Then i took a few photos without the crowd and more like they were of her having a professional shoot. I asked her to strike a few poses that gave the indie coolness vibe with the element of rock star. Then i took a few images that were up close and it was just portraits of her face so i can have a verity of images that i can choose for my magazine.

I am going to show a few selected images that i am going to use for my magazine and why i want to use them.

I want to use this image as my front cover possibly a different one but i am wanting this one to work and be for my front cover. It shows my full model in the shot, it is colorful and exciting. It shows she is in her element, shows what my magazine is about. It gives off the professional festival shot and there will be many more images like this. I like how she is not central and the angle is looking up at her meaning she is more important in the shot than anything else. It gives the feeling as if we are the crowd at her concert and this ties in and links with the style of my magazine and what the magazine is about. I think this will entice the audience with the feeling of being at a concert and so i think they will want to look into this more ands enjoy the magazine.

I want this is definitely be my contents page, i wanted a professional looking close up shot of my model as the singer because i wanted it to be a lot more about her specifically. This is just to make people be excited for what it to come and be drawn into reading the magazine more. I also like the fact it is a purple hue over the image, the purple hue is calm and inviting.

I think these are going to be the images of the concerts and they are the images that show off what the festivals and shows look. This is were i show off new songs and new albums too. 






These are the images i want to use in the article area, the article is about doing what you love and helping your confidence and i think these are inspiring images for that topic. I would like to have these in the magazine, i like the angle showing off everyone loving the singer and the singer in there element. This is inspiring for people and it looks fun, i want these images to bring a very positive atmosphere.

Article draft

This is my first draft of my article for my magazine. This is were i have written the story of what my artist did to gain confidence and pursue her dream. I am telling the story as if the artist told me herself. I wanted to cover this topic because this is to inspire young teens such as high school and college aged students to do what they love to do and not let anyone stop them or bring there confidence down. At this age it get shard when everything starts changing and things can cause people to lose there confidence but this article is just to inspire others if they are feeling this way.

These are my final, masthead designs. I have done the same front for all three as i decided this in my pervious planning process. The font is my favorite so i have chosen them to use for my magazine. It has that rock feel to it but the added highlights are the feeling of an indie styled masthead. I am not too sure at this stage which one i want to use but i think i will experiment out on different ones when i come to editing my magazine. 


This is the font that i used for the masthead. This gave off a young feel to it like it would attract the target audience and that it has that rock edge to it but the way i have styled it it also has the softness vibe of the indie style. This is combining the two indie and rock to create the unique indie rock style.  



The first step was to add the background for each masthead by using the rectangle tool to create the shape and add the colour black to it. This was to make sure the colours would stand out but I'm not too sure on using the black background but i will experiment with this when editing it.  



This is when i repeated the step because i had a few colours in mind. Then using the text tool and the website DaFont i ended up downloading the font and using it for my masthead designs. 


This is were i changed the colour of each font, i wanted to make sure that they were bright colours and that were contrasting to the background image of my magazine which is pink so i need to make sure these will stand out. 


This is were i am adding the highlights with the draw tool, i used many different settings such as the hardness of the pen and size of the pen and this is different for each edit so i can experiment for each one and see what style i like. Looking at the outcomes I like the hardness of the pen to be half percentage and the size to be on the larger size such as 20.

I have decided to use a short film from a student in a UTC college for my inspiration and I decided to us this because it effected me so much to were I wanted to do something in that style. Animation Unit 10- LO3

P5 ............................................................................................................... This is how my animation was created. I have decided to do stop motion animation so my animation required me to make all the backgrounds and take each image of every moving thing to make this animation come to life.  I had my own quiet room to make sure that I have the right resources to work with each background. The backgrounds were made out of colourful card and some of the elements that I wanted moving were not glued onto the background they were stook on by blue tack. This allows me to move each piece how I want too but it not be full stuck onto the background or else it just wouldn't work. The background was also stuck on the back wall with blue tack because I was going to be moving it through shooting and so that needed to stay unstuck but stuck to the wall.
