What did i do?
I used photoshop to create my magazine, i used images that i had taken myself. I have made sure to include everything in my designing process. I have decided to change a few things up but overall it is just like my visualization diagrams. Photoshop allowed me to create everything i needed to create. The editing for this process only used simple tools in Photoshop such as the text tool and DaFont to choose the fronts, shapes tool to add the rectangles and the drawing tool to add my added little details. This was simple and easy to use and it was all the basic skills i already knew.
I chose to lay it out the way i did because when i was designing the visualization diagram it was a very simple and clear layout for everything to be seen. I had a lot of information to add in so i had to create sections and things off. This is done with a simple coloured text box. I didn't take any inspiration for a layout but i just guessed and when it came to the creating process i had to see what would be good for the layout and what might not work. There were a few things changed such as i didn't add the text boxes to sperate the writing but when it came to making it i wanted to add them to make it clear for my readers to read the text.
The codes and conventions of a magazine explain that things have to be laid out clearly, this is for the readers easy access to the information and so it doesn't create too much mess. The images of the magazine were taken by me and i had to take into consideration about what layout i was going to use for my magazine. The images had to be changed because they didn't give me enough room to make the magazine cover look clear or smart. I needed to take into consideration the images, the text and what information needed to go where. I also needed to make sure that there was enough room and space for the titles and cover lines, these are conventions of a magazine that needed to be prioritized and so i needed to make sure that there was enough room and space to add these titles and coverlines. If i didn't have them people wouldn't know what the information was about so they became very important and so i needed to include this in my layout designs. I did most of the experimenting into the creating on Photoshop process.

Design Technologies
The reasoning for my design choices was i was influenced by many different NME magazine and inspiration by the indie rock theme instead of something specific. I imagined myself reading a magazine for my personal interest and then decided that i was going to use that personal inspiration for my work. I love indie rock music and concerts are my happy place so i used my knowledge on the style and found magazine inspiration from the NME magazine and combing the two to interest my design. The colours are inspired by my images i had taken for the photoshoot. The photoshoot was inspired by my favorite bands images such as, The Royston's club, Kasabian and The Reytons. The font was inspired by the style of music i was advertising which is indie rock so i added the element of rock to the main font and some classic fonts for the readers to read clearly then adding some indie writing for the new albums page to tie in all of the elements of my magazine.
These were the main tools i used when it comes to my magazine, these tools are used in photoshop and they were the basic and easy way of creating what i needed. To change the colours of each i used the settings section of Photoshop, these are just the basic tools that i leant in Photoshop. Everything was created with these tools so make each different piece of element in the magazine. DaFont was the main website i have used for all of my font which i have shown through out my creating process.

Strengths
What went well? I think that the best thing about this website was the photoshoot, i had a clear vison in mind from my inspiration and that was met. I my happy with how the models and little actors were happy to work with me and they were very capable at following my directing instructions. They followed all the safety precautions that i have told them throughout the photoshoot, i made sure they didn't touch the model or the prop so there would be no accidents. I made sure there was no pushing so no one would be crushed or hurt and they would listen to my commands when i would tell them to be in character and come out of it. The model was happy to do everything i told her too and she did it so perfectly i was happy with more of the outcomes. She created poses that would be in the style of these indie rock bands and i made sure to give her some ideas and visions that i had so i knew that we were both on the same page. The images came out with no editing required, the images came out nice and clear and because of the lighting there were no brightening or darkening issues the colours produced was just what i was looking for. Some of the images were use with flash so i made sure to ask everyone was comfortable with that and ready. This game a very live concert like feel, a lot of concerts have flashing lights and i wanted to get that blurry and moving effect, i used these images in y magazine due to the perfect outcome. This is why i think the photoshoot was one of my strengths because everything went to plan and i feel like it worked so well for my magazine.
I am happy with the final product, i really like how the images came out and that i am happy the images didn't need editing. I like how they were giving the indie rock concert vibe that i wanted. I am also happy with the professional looking shots, i wanted the shot to look like she was being shot in a photoshoot setting like she is posing for a professional album cover or something with that vibe and that is what i got. Some of the images i couldn't use due to the landscape and portrait images didn't fit on the layout but i ended up getting many different images with all different angles so i had to change my initial photo to a different one. This didn't effect anything and i was still really happy with the outcomes of them. The lighting were bright and looked good with the different colours so i was happy that no editing was needed in any of the images.
I chose the photoshoot at my strength because i am very confident in my photography skills and di think that that made this part of the magazine my strongest area. I also really enjoy photography and so i think my talent was there for this are of the magazine process. This is just making me feel more confident that my magazine is up to the standard i like. I am really happy with how the vibe of these images matched the indie rock style with the clothing, lighting and setting.

Weaknesses
I think i would improve some of my editing and layout, i really do like the final product but i think i could have planned a layout a bit more because i had to think on the spot about what it was going to look like because i didn't think thew original one i designed would work. There is nothing wrong with the layout i have created i just think it looks more like a poster instead of a magazine so i think next time i will look at more into the magazine layouts. I think i needed to keep it a bit more simple and have many just one photo as its main image instead of an overload of the images. I also think i had written a lot for my article and struggled with fitting in all of the text on one page but i am happy that i was able to change the layout and managed to get them all onto the one page. I also struggled with picking a perfect font and had to use a lot of the default fonts because nothing was just what i wanted it to be so i think i should have planned out what was going to use before hand. I needed to make sure that the font was legible to read when it was at a small size and that is what took a lot of time planning because they all didn't look like they were clear when they were put on a small size. This is why i needed to use a front that was just a default one so i knew it was clear and simple for the readers to read at a small font size.
Then looking at the font i need to make sure i have planned and looked at many different fonts so i know what it going to be good at the size even if its big or small. It is okay to use the font that i did use for my magazine but i wanted to make it more on theme. The font used is the one i am using now and so i know that it is good for small font sizes and that it is going to be clear for the audience to read. Next time i am wanting to make sure i find a font that is on theme and is clear to use in any font size. This planning will be done in the pre-production stage so i know i have tried out many and know what is perfect for my magazine. I am still happy that the font used is good for the audience to read with and the background being a light colour should help the audience read the writing. I just want to o meet the conventions of a magazine and make sure the writing is clear for the audience to read and i have done so. However, there is always room for improvement and i think that will be in he pre-production planning stage.
Overall, there are still improvements to be made but i am happy with my magazine and what it looks like.
